Kenyata Omar Swann is a multimedia artist, singer, songwriter, and poet born and raised in Salisbury, North Carolina. From a young age, he discovered a deep passion for the arts, exploring photography, videography, music production, and creative writing as avenues for self-expression.
His love affair with poetry began at the tender age of 10, sparked by a curiosity that quickly blossomed into a lifelong devotion. Throughout middle school, he eagerly absorbed every English lesson, refining his writing craft with intention and heart. His composition notebook—affectionately dubbed “the Book of Life”—became his sacred space, a trusted confidant for feelings, daily reflections, dreams, and revelations.
In the 7th grade, Kenyata penned his first poem, Love Me, a heartfelt beginning to a journey that continues to evolve and inspire. Today, he blends his artistic talents to create immersive, emotionally resonant experiences that reflect his truth and invite others to live freely and authentically.
